Darker Tint Does Not Automatically Mean Better Heat Rejection
Visible light transmission and solar performance are different measurements. Choosing the darkest-looking film is not the same as choosing the best-performing film for heat.
Shade / VLT
Visible light transmission, commonly called VLT, describes how much visible light passes through the glass and film. Lower VLT generally means a darker appearance.
Solar Performance
Film technology affects how the tint manages solar energy. A lighter high-performance film may outperform a darker basic film when heat control is the main goal.

Install and Finish the Film
The film is fitted to the glass, positioned, squeegeed, and finished around the edges. Proper technique matters on curved glass, rear windows, and vehicles with tight seals or complex window shapes.
Let the Film Cure
Tint continues to dry after the vehicle leaves the shop. Some temporary moisture or haziness can occur during the curing period. We will tell you when it is safe to roll the windows down and how to care for the new film.
